FESTIVAL AREA

Address: Lögarängsvägen, 1 Västerås

For 2026, we’ve redesigned parts of the festival area to improve crowd flow, create clearer gathering spots, and make the overall festival experience even better.
Many of the changes come directly from your feedback after last year and we’ve truly taken it to heart ❤️

Entrance

  • The entrance will be located in the same place as last year.
  • We’ve adjusted the surrounding layout to create a smoother entry flow.

Marketplace

  • The marketplace has been relocated to improve overall flow and create clearer sections within the festival area.
  • The goal is to make the area easier to explore and more enjoyable to move through.

Merch

  • The merch area has been moved closer to the stages.
  • This makes it easier to grab merch without completely leaving the festival atmosphere.

V.I.P

  • The V.I.P area is located closer to the stages and includes its own serving area.
  • The goal is to create a more lively atmosphere where you can relax while still enjoying the live performances.

Bars

  • Alcohol is only available within the designated licensed serving area.
  • Due to the festival's age policy, alcohol cannot be consumed outside the licensed serving area.
  • The serving area is clearly marked on the festival map.

Toilets

  • The toilets have been moved to a better-lit area.
  • The smoking area is also located nearby, and we’ve improved the lighting for 2026 based on feedback from last year.

Food Area

  • The food trucks and serving area now have a more dedicated space with additional seating areas.
  • It’s designed as a place where you can take a break from the crowd, grab some food, and hang out between bands.

Serving Area

  • This year, we’re partnering with a new hospitality and serving team with extensive experience in festivals and live events, including 9 years of work together with Västerås City Festival.

  • It was important for us to work with people who share our vision and can help create a safe and well-organized festival experience.
  • The serving tent will continue to be the main area for alcohol service, regardless of the final setup of the additional bars around the festival area.
