EREB ALTOR
Ereb Altor is a Swedish Viking/doom-metal band formed in 2003 with members of Isole. Named after a fantasy world from the RPG Dungeons and Dragons. The band blends epic Viking metal with doom and black-metal elements. Since their debut. Ereb Altor have released a series of atmospheric albums, continuing to evolve their sound while remaining rooted in Scandinavian folklore and epic metal tradition.

After three decades in the shadows, the legendary Vinterland rises once more from the depths of the Swedish winter.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of their groundbreaking album Welcome My Last Chapter, they return to the stage with full force, ready to revive the golden era of melodic black metal.
A sound that has inspired countless bands across the world.
LIVE BATTLE
We have one remaining slot at the festival and this is your chance to earn it.
On January 25th, the application opens for bands who want to compete in Live Battle, our live band competition.
A total of 12 bands will be selected.
The competition is divided into three live events, held at O’Learys Beer Garden, where four bands compete each night.
The grand final takes place on April 11th on the main stage.
The winning band earns a confirmed spot on the festival lineup.

Throwback to the 2025 festival
Bulgasal Metal Fest is a rising force on the Swedish metal scene, based in Västerås. The festival made its debut on August 30–31, 2024, born from a passion for extreme metal spanning the late ’80s to the early 2000s. With raw riffs and relentless drums at its core, Bulgasal is more than just music, it’s about creating a community where fans and bands unite by Lake Mälaren for an unforgettable summer experience.
